We are pleased by your interest in our website. The protection of your private sphere is very important to us. Please see below for detailed information on how your data is handled.
Storage of access data in server log files
You can visit our website without providing details about yourself. We only store access data in so-called server log files, such as the name of the requested file, the data and time of the access, the volume of data transferred and the requesting provider. This data is used exclusively to ensure the smooth operation of the site and is evaluated to improve our services; it provides us with no means to identify you personally.
Data capture and usage to execute a contract and to open a customer account
We only record personal details if you have communicated these to us voluntarily in the course of placing your order, requesting contact with us (e.g. via the contact form or email) or opening a customer account. The individual entry forms explain which details will be recorded. We use the data you provide to execute the contract and to process your queries. Your data is blocked from further usage once the contract has been executed in full or your customer account has been deleted, and is deleted once the statutory retention periods have lapsed, unless you have explicitly authorised further usage of your data, or we have reserved the right to make further use of your data, providing we are legally permitted to do so and have informed you accordingly. You can delete your customer account at any time, either by sending us a message using our contact information as described below, or by using the applicable function within your customer account.
We store the contract text and send you the order data by email. You can read our T&Cs here at any time. You can view old orders in your customer account.
Data transfer for contract fulfilment
We shall transfer your data to shipping companies tasked with delivery, providing this is necessary for the delivery of the ordered goods. To process payments we shall transfer the necessary payment data to the credit institute tasked with the payment and, where applicable, the payment service provider tasked by us, and to the payment service selected by you during the ordering process.
Data usage for postal advertising and your right of objection
Moreover, we reserve the right to store your first and last names, your postal address and – providing we have obtained this additional information from you within the scope of the contractual relationship – your title, academic grade, your date of birth and your professional, industrial or commercial classification, in collated lists and to use this information for our own advertising purposes, e.g. to send interesting offers and information on our products by post. You may object to the storage and usage of your data for these purposes at any time by sending a message using the contact options described below.

Use of Google Analytics for web analysis
This website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service from Google Inc. (www.google.de). Google Analytics uses so-called “cookies”, text files that are saved on your computer and that enable analysis of your use of the website. In exceptional circumstances a full IP address could be sent to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. An IP anonymiser is used on this website. On behalf of the website operator Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, in order to create reports about the website activities and to provide other services related to website use and Internet use to the website operator. Use of social plugins from Facebook by using the “2-click solution”
So-called social plugins (“plugins”) of the social network Facebook are used on our website. This service is offered by the company Facebook Inc. (“supplier”).
Facebook is operated by Facebook Inc., 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA (“Facebook”). Click here for an overview of Facebook plugins and their appearance: https://developers.facebook.com/docs/plugins/
The plugins are embedded in the site using the so-called “2-click solution” to increase protection for your personal data when you visit our website. This embedding guarantees that no automatic connection is made with the Facebook servers when you visit a page of our website that contains such plugins. Your browser only makes a direct connection with the Facebook servers when you activate the plugins and, thus, consent to the data transfer. The content of the respective plugin is transmitted directly to your browser and embedded in the page. Embedding the plugin informs Facebook that you have accessed the corresponding page of our website, even if you have no Facebook profile or are not logged in at the time. This information (including your IP address) is sent by your browser directly to a Facebook server in the USA. If you interact with the plugins, e.g. by clicking the “Like” button, the corresponding information is likewise sent directly to a Facebook server and stored there. The information is also published on Facebook and is visible to your contacts.
Please read the Facebook data protection notices for information on the scope and purpose of the data collection, further processing and usage performed by Facebook, as well as your rights and settings options in this regard to protect your private sphere at http://www.facebook.com/policy.php

Please contact us directly via the contact details given in our Legal Notice with any queries about the capture, processing or usage of your personal data, for information, correction, blocking or deletion of data, and to withdraw consent that you have granted, or to object to a specific instance of data usage.
